A fresh round of conversation has followed Nollywood actor Yul Edochie after social media personality Geh Geh weighed in on the emotional comments made by Emmanuel Obasi, the ex-husband of Yul’s second wife, Judy Austin. In the clip circulating online, Geh Geh in a video Warns Yul Edochie Over Judy Austin not to take on the burden of raising another man’s children, saying the decision could later come back to haunt him and believes Judy Austin can also leave him and remarry another man again.

The latest reaction is tied to Obasi’s recent podcast appearance, where he said he and Judy Austin were once married and shared two children. In the preview, Obasi claimed the relationship broke down because of Yul, alleged that Judy expressed her admiration for the actor while he was still married to her, and said he had evidence to support his claims. He also said he wants access to his children and spoke as though the issue had dragged on for years.
Judy Austin has pushed back strongly against those allegations. In a video shared on her Instagram page, she said she met Yul Edochie in 2016, three years after her marriage to Emmanuel Obasi ended, and maintained that there was no relationship between her and Yul while she was still married. She also said Obasi had not properly pursued access to the children through legal channels, while adding that Yul stepped in to support the children when their biological father was absent.
This is not the first time Obasi has publicly complained about the marriage history. Premium Times reported in 2024 that he said he regretted sponsoring Judy Austin’s university education, keeping the long-running family controversy alive well before this week’s new round of podcast reactions. The latest debate also lands against the backdrop of Yul Edochie’s own warning in April 2026 that men should not cry on podcasts over women, a remark that is now being revisited online in light of Obasi’s emotional interview.
