Liz Anjorin has mocked Priscilla Ojo and her mother, Iyabo Ojo, after a Lagos State High Court issued an interim restraining order limiting what the actress can publish about Priscilla’s family on social media.

Anjorin, reacting during an Instagram Live session, dismissed the legal action as “dead on arrival” and questioned why the court document was publicised online.

The development has added another layer to the long-running dispute between the two actresses, which has largely played out on social media before now taking a more formal turn in court.

The legal development began on September 2, 2026, when Justice Yetunde Adesanya of the High Court of Lagos State granted an ex parte order in Suit No. LD/ADR/6646/2026.

The application was filed by Priscilla Ojo, her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their son, Rakeem Mkambala, against Anjorin.

The order restricts Anjorin, as well as people acting under her authority, from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading or broadcasting photographs of Rakeem on social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok.

The court also directed her to stop publishing or broadcasting editorials concerning the applicants on the listed platforms pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice. Several social media accounts allegedly connected to Anjorin were specifically identified in the order.

Importantly, the order is interim. It does not amount to a final determination of the dispute or establish that allegations made by either side are true or false.

The application was heard ex parte, meaning Anjorin was not present or heard at that stage. The matter is therefore expected to proceed through further court proceedings. The court also directed that the case file be returned to the High Court registry for reassignment to the appropriate division.

Why Priscilla Ojo went to court

The court action comes against the backdrop of a prolonged public disagreement involving Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo’s family.

The dispute has previously generated heated exchanges and allegations on social media. PUNCH also noted that the wider conflict had earlier included a ₦1 billion defamation suit filed by Iyabo Ojo against Anjorin.

More recently, Anjorin made claims concerning Rakeem’s parentage. Those claims have not been independently established and are not part of the findings contained in the latest interim order. QED also noted that the court order itself does not determine the truth of the competing allegations.

That distinction is important because the latest court action is specifically about restricting certain publications while the substantive legal proceedings continue.

Liz Anjorin calls the case “dead on arrival”

Rather than treating the court development as the end of the dispute, Anjorin responded publicly during an Instagram Live session on Friday.

The actress questioned the decision to share the court document on social media and challenged the circumstances surrounding its service.

In comments reported by PUNCH, Anjorin described the case as “dead on arrival” and argued that publicising a court document before it was formally served on the respondent raised questions about the proceedings. She also criticised the publication of what she described as petition documents online.

Her reaction quickly became another talking point in the already heated dispute, particularly because the court order itself had only been issued two days earlier.

Priscilla had shared pages of the certified true copy of the order on her Instagram Story on Friday, bringing the legal development directly to her followers. QED confirmed that the document was shared online after the order was granted.

What the Lagos court order actually means

Despite the heated reactions surrounding the case, the wording of the order is narrower than the wider social media battle might suggest.

The court has temporarily restricted Anjorin from publishing photographs of Rakeem and from publishing or broadcasting editorials concerning the applicants through the specified social media channels. The restriction remains pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice.

In other words, the order is not a final judgment on the feud between Anjorin and the Ojo family. It is a temporary legal measure while the court considers the substantive application.

That also means Anjorin’s description of the case as “dead on arrival” is her own assessment of the legal action, not a ruling by the court.

Rakeem at the centre of the latest dispute

Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, the son of Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux, is at the centre of the latest legal development.

According to QED, Rakeem was born in Canada on August 24, 2025, and turned one on August 24, 2026.

The court’s decision specifically protects his photographs from being published or circulated by Anjorin through the social media accounts identified in the order.

The focus on the child also marks a significant shift in the dispute, moving the issue beyond the actresses’ personal exchanges and into questions being considered through the legal system.

The feud now moves beyond social media

For months, the disagreement between Anjorin and the Ojo family has generated attention largely through social media posts and responses. The latest court action changes the situation by placing specific restrictions under a formal judicial order.

Anjorin’s response shows that the public dispute is far from settled. While she has dismissed the case as “dead on arrival,” the court order remains an interim measure pending further proceedings.

For now, the most important point is that the Lagos High Court has placed temporary restrictions on Anjorin’s publication of Rakeem’s photographs and certain content concerning Priscilla, Juma and their son.

The court has not, at this stage, determined the truth of the wider allegations surrounding the feud.

As the matter progresses, further proceedings will determine whether the restrictions remain, change or are lifted. Until then, Anjorin’s latest public response has ensured that the already closely followed dispute remains firmly in the spotlight.
