Bayo Onanuga, chief strategist for President Bola Tinubu, stated that Tinubu has failed Nigerians but urged citizens to set aside ethnic, religious, and political differences to combat worsening insecurity involving kidnappings and killings. The statement followed incidents in Onanuga’s region. Seun Okin echoed the call for unity against terrorists on his Politics Today show.

Terror does not ask for your tribe, faith, region, or political affiliation before it strikes. Our response must be stronger than our divisions. Today on Politics Today, I called on all Nigerians to put aside political, ethnic, and religious differences and stand united against the common enemy threatening our collective future. Criticise what must be criticised. Demand accountability where it is due.
