A new woman has alleged that content creator Odogwu Asaba lured her to Asaba with a N100,000 promise, then blocked and threatened her with arrest if she spoke out.

The allegations against Odogwu Asaba, whose real name is Ifeanyi Ogbonna, emerge as the content creator battles a sexual assault allegation case already drawing national attention following the death of a young woman named Favour.

As gathered by Westtrybe, this new accuser’s account adds a second voice to complaints about the creator’s conduct toward women he invited to Asaba.

The Delta State Police Command confirmed the arrest of Ogbonna in connection with Favour’s death, after she accused him of sexual assault. That case, now before investigators, forms the backdrop against which the new woman stepped forward Friday.

According to a video shared by a blogger on Instagram on Friday, 17 July 2026, the new accuser recounted her experience in detail. Police say Favour had travelled from Warri to Asaba on June 1, 2026, after responding to a content creation training program Ogbonna had advertised on social media.

The new woman’s account follows a reportedly similar pattern.

The new accuser claimed Odogwu Asaba invited her to visit him in Asaba under the pretense of paying her N100,000. The two connected via Facebook before he extended the invitation, she stated in the video.

He allegedly followed the same approach he had reportedly used on another woman identified as Favour, according to the source material seen by Westtrybe.

After her visit, the woman said she made her way to a park to wait for the payment she had been promised. Instead, she discovered that the content creator had blocked her across all platforms, leaving her with no means to reach him or collect what she was owed.

With no alternatives available, she borrowed money from a friend to fund her journey home.

She stated that when she used her friend’s phone to call him, the call connected. Rather than address her concerns, Odogwu Asaba allegedly issued a direct warning. He threatened to use his connections to have her arrested if she named him publicly or shared her story.

That warning, she noted, initially kept her silent.

But she eventually resolved to speak. “He threatened to get me arrested if I talk,” she stated in the video, as reported by Legit. ng. Her decision to come forward came despite the threat she said the creator had leveled against her.

The video drew divided responses online. Many users questioned the circumstances of her visit, while others sympathized with her situation. Responses gathered by Westtrybe from the comments section showed users on both sides of the debate.

Instagram user @jenny_power_b commented: “You went there as a runs girl; your own is different; you enjoy it.” Another user, @_cherii_coco, wrote: “I’m sorry, but you can’t compare your runs, girl gone wrong case, to favors of your own, please.

“Yet @prosper_040 pushed back, writing: “This one no be runs girl matter we dey talk abeg aunty.

A separate update reported by Legit. ng noted that Favour was not a runs girl but had gone to see Odogwu Asaba to learn content creation in Asaba.

That detail came from a blogger who shared a fresh account about Favour and her family, documents seen by Westtrybe confirm.

Favour’s family had also cried out for help over an N7 million debt they reportedly incurred while trying to get treatment for her. Social media users continued to ask questions about the case, while some offered prayers for the family and promised support during the difficult period, as gathered by Westtrybe.

As of the time of reporting, Ogbonna has not been convicted of any offense. The allegations against him remain under police investigation, and a court will determine his guilt or innocence.

Westtrybe could not independently verify the new accuser’s claims at the time of publication. The content creator had not issued a public response to the new woman’s allegations as of Saturday, 18 July 2026.
