BBNaija Season 11 winner Temi Nkem has emerged as the champion of the “Show Ya Sef” edition after a closely contested finale that saw her finish just 2.19 percentage points ahead of Aikou.
Temi, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, was crowned during the live grand finale on Sunday, October 4, after 70 days in the Big Brother Naija house. Her victory secured the ₦160 million prize package and made her the fifth female winner in the history of the reality television show.
But beyond the headline announcing her victory, the final voting figures show just how competitive the race became before the crown was finally decided.
BBNaija Season 11 winner Temi Nkem edges Aikou

Temi Nkem secured 25.87 per cent of the final votes from viewers in Nigeria and across Africa, according to the results announced during the finale.
Aikou finished as the first runner-up with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba took the second runner-up position with 9.80 per cent.
The 2.19 percentage-point difference between Temi and Aikou makes the result particularly notable. Temi won, but the figures show that she did not dominate the final vote by a huge margin. The final stage remained competitive until the result was announced.
The result also closed a season that began with 24 housemates competing for the biggest prize package in the show’s history at the time of its launch.
How Temi Nkem reached the BBNaija Season 11 finale

Temi’s route to the crown was not a straightforward one.
She entered the house as one of the 24 contestants in the “Show Ya Sef” edition and quickly became one of the season’s more noticeable personalities. Her outspoken nature, reactions during confrontations and involvement in several memorable house moments kept her part of the wider conversation around the show.
Her journey also included a fake eviction twist in September. Rather than ending her run, the twist saw her return to the competition and continue towards the final week.
By the final stretch, Temi was among nine housemates still competing for the crown. The remaining finalists had to navigate the last round of campaigns, diary sessions and the pressure of knowing that only one person would leave the house as champion.
BBNaija Season 11 winner makes history

Temi’s victory is significant beyond the Season 11 title.
She becomes the fifth female winner of Big Brother Naija, joining previous female champions in the show’s history. Her win also adds another female name to a list that includes Mercy Eke, who won Season 4; Laycon, Whitemoney, Phyna and Ilebaye among the show’s other recent champions.
The achievement comes after a season that produced several unusual developments. According to reports on the season’s conclusion, BBNaija Season 11 recorded two disqualifications and one voluntary exit, making it the first season in the show’s history to experience all three circumstances in the same edition.
That helped make the journey to the final nine less predictable than a conventional season, with twists and changing powers influencing how housemates navigated the competition.
What Temi Nkem is taking home

Temi’s reward is a ₦160 million prize package, but the figure needs some context.
When Season 11 was announced, the winner’s package was presented as including ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV, alongside the overall ₦160 million package. During the season, however, ₦10 million from the original cash component was allocated to the Most Influential Player of the Week prize fund.
As a result, Temi’s cash prize is ₦90 million, alongside the brand-new SUV and other sponsored prizes that make up the total package.
The distinction matters because the widely reported ₦160 million figure refers to the total value of the prize package, not cash handed directly to the winner.
BBNaija Season 11 ends after 70 days

The finale brought an end to 70 days of competition, beginning with 24 housemates and ending with Temi standing above the remaining finalists.
Aikou’s second-place finish gave him 23.68 per cent of the final vote, while Sheba completed the top three with 9.80 per cent. Bluethopia finished as the third runner-up after being evicted earlier in the finale.
For Temi, however, the decisive moment came when Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced her name as the winner.
The victory means her time in the “Show Ya Sef” house ends not simply as one of the season’s most talked-about journeys, but as the one that secured the ultimate prize.
After weeks of tasks, nominations, evictions, twists and the final voting battle, Temi Nkem is officially the BBNaija Season 11 winner.
