Brazilian football legend Ronaldo de Lima make a statement concerning Messi and Ronaldo has insisted that Lionel Messi is the greatest player of all time, without any argument.
Ronaldo was reacting to Messi’s sensational hat-trick in their 3-0 win over Algeria at the 2026 World Cup.
The three strikes saw Messi surpass Ronaldo’s tally in the competition.
Ronaldo, in an interview with A Bola, said the world needs to finally accept that there is no debate about the best footballer in history.
He said, “It’s time for the world to stop hiding and accept the fact that he is the best player of all time.
“He continues to deliver every season and in the World Cup, and yet, there are still doubts about him. It is an unforgettable and historic night that will remain forever in the history books.”
The ongoing 2026 world cup has also been a fantastic performance so far for both Messi and Ronaldo, they are both competing really hard and its also sad that this might be the last time we will see the both of them playing in a world cup campaign.
