Nigerian TikTok stars Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Elizabeth Amadou, better known as Jarvis, have officially taken their relationship to the next level. Videos from their court wedding surfaced online on Wednesday, showing the couple exchanging vows and signing the marriage register in an intimate civil ceremony surrounded by family and close friends.

The moment marks the latest milestone in a love story that has played out almost entirely in public over the past two years.

From Viral Romance To Legal Union

Peller and Jarvis rose to fame through collaborative TikTok livestreams, comedy skits, and relationship-themed content that attracted millions of followers. Their journey has been anything but quiet. After dating publicly, the couple faced a breakup in December 2025 that went viral when Peller crashed his car during an emotional livestream and later apologized to fans. Jarvis also visited his mother shortly after and said the relationship was “over for now”.

They reconciled months later, and the couple has since been documenting every major step toward marriage.

Traditional Rites And Engagement In Ghana

The road to the court wedding began with tradition. In June 2026, Peller traveled to Benin City, Edo State, to formally meet Jarvis’ family and pay her bride price. Sharing the moment on Instagram, he wrote: “Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love. A beautiful journey has officially begun… She said ‘yes’ to forever, and now it’s time to build our future together. Officially off the market”.

Weeks earlier, Peller had proposed to Jarvis on June 3 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana. It was his second public proposal. The first came in December 2024, which Jarvis initially described as a “promise ring” before later confirming the engagement.

The couple even announced their wedding with a cinematic video ending in “Jarvis & Peller 01-08-2026”, and introduced #Jarpel as their official wedding hashtag.

A Spiritual Oath And Public Scrutiny

Ahead of the wedding, Peller and Jarvis sparked conversation after revealing a spiritual “oath” they claim binds their relationship. Speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast weeks before the wedding, Jarvis said: “If you cheat, you die. It’s the rule of the relationship… Because we are in a commitment. The fact that we pray together. God is involved”. She added that the “curse” placed on the relationship still stands and that commitment was the reason for the oath. Peller also disclosed he once suggested a literal blood pact to seal the relationship.

The comments drew mixed reactions online, with some fans praising their transparency and others urging them to seek counseling.

The Court Wedding And What Comes Next

In the court ceremony videos shared online, Peller was dressed in a crisp white suit while Jarvis wore an elegant white tweed outfit and held a bouquet of baby’s breath. Family members and close friends watched as they exchanged vows and signed the register.

The court wedding is not the final celebration. The couple has already announced August 1, 2026 as the date for their white wedding, expected to be one of the most-watched influencer weddings in Nigeria this year. They also unveiled a ₦1 million Aso Ebi package for guests, which generated buzz online.

They also plan to livestream their traditional wedding on YouTube and Twitch.

Peller and Jarvis represent a new generation of Nigerian celebrities whose relationships unfold in real time on social media. From proposal billboards in Lagos to traditional rites in Benin and now a court wedding, fans have followed every chapter. With millions of followers and a relationship built on livestreams, skits, and public declarations, the couple’s union reflects how digital influence is reshaping modern Nigerian weddings.

As they prepare for the white wedding next month, one thing is clear: for Peller and Jarvis, “forever” has officially begun.
