Ifeoma Okoye, wife of music executive Jude Okoye, has refused to publicly defend herself after singer Peter Okoye alleged a P-Square property transfer bearing her name, posting her response on Instagram.
Ifeoma made the remarks in a statement shared on her official Instagram page on Monday, hours after Peter released another episode of his video series detailing his long-running disagreement with his elder brother over the affairs and assets of the former P-Square group.
In the latest episode, Mr. P alleged that Jude attempted to transfer his ownership rights in one of P-Square’s properties to Ifeoma, a move he claimed he rejected after discovering documents bearing her name.
Peter‘s claim, made in the fifth installment of his ongoing tell-all video series, held that Jude once presented him with documents that would have transferred his ownership rights to Ifeoma and that he refused to sign the paperwork after carefully reviewing its full contents.
Responding to the controversy without mentioning Peter or Jude directly, Ifeoma said she had become aware of the stories circulating about her but would not be drawn into public exchanges.
She stated that she had become aware of narratives she believed had been “twisted and manipulated” to involve her in a dispute she neither started nor wished to be part of, describing the experience as deeply painful.
“There comes a time when silence is no longer about fear, but about entrusting the truth to God,” she wrote. Ifeoma did not address any of Peter’s specific allegations by name and did not deny or confirm the existence of the documents he described.
Without mentioning Peter directly, she said she would not engage in public arguments or attempt to convince people committed to misunderstanding her.
She added: “I have no desire to defend myself before those committed to misunderstanding me.” Her statement did not include any legal position, threat of action, or contact with any regulatory body.
Drawing from the biblical story of Ananias and Sapphira, Ifeoma said no one could deceive God, describing Him as the righteous judge who exposes falsehood and upholds the truth in His own time.
In her post, Ify invoked the biblical story of Ananias and Sapphira, saying: “The story of Ananias and Sapphira reminds us that while people can deceive others for a time, no one can deceive God.”
Ifeoma stated that her decision to remain silent should not be interpreted as weakness or fear, adding that she had chosen to leave the matter entirely in God’s hands rather than engage in further public disputes.
She concluded by praying for mercy, healing, and restoration, asking God to soften hardened hearts, restore what had been damaged, and lead everyone involved towards truth, humility, and peace.

Neither Jude Okoye nor any representative of his issued a response to Ifeoma Okoye’s statement as of the time of this report. The dispute over P-Square’s assets and management structure remains unresolved, with Peter Okoye’s video series continuing to add new claims to the public record.
